Here are some links to Publishers of SciFi that I have dealt with personally.  They have been very helpful and fair with me so I thought I would share a list of them with you. Frankly, like most writers I'm sure you will just be grateful for getting your stuff published just like I have. Maybe one of them might even publish something of yours? These guys are very friendly and helpful. They pay only a small amount right now, but they hope to be  able to increase that as soon as possible. The exposure and 6 issues of free ads in the magazine are  worth more then just what they pay you . They don't pay, but if they like your stuff they will publish it  and they are good at giving out helpful advice. 8/16/07 UPDATE: For the momment this magazine only accepts artwork.  They hope to start a new magazine for literature and poetry soon. When they do I will post it here. They don't pay, but contributors who have work selected for inclusion  in the publications will enjoy worldwide exposure. Here is a site that has list of pubishers of all kinds with details on the pay and if the take reprints. The following are some of the higher paying publishers. (See details on their sites.)  I have sent them my stuff to them in the past, but so far have not had the privilege of being published by any of them. They have at least been good about eventually sending rejection letters or notifications. Who knows maybe your story might have better luck with them? Direct to Glimmer Train submission page.
